1.Pentax unveils 40MP 645D medium format DSLR
Five years after announcing its development, and following a month-long online campaign trailing the launch, Pentax has finally unveiled its much anticipated 645D medium format digital camera. The first digital version of the company’s 645 medium format camera system, it features a 40MP, 44 x 33 CCD sensor, 921k dot 3.0″ LCD and is compatible with the existing 645 system lenses. The camera will initially be available only in the Japanese market at a suggested retail price of ¥850,000 (~ US $9,400) from May 2010.

3.Mamiya ZD and digital back
Mamiya has announced the first medium format digital SLR, the 22 megapixel Mamiya ZD and a digital back of the same name. The ZD has a large 36 x 48mm sensor, is compatible with 645AF lenses and has a 1.8-inch LCD. It stores 12-bit colour images on to either CompactFlash or SD cards. The Mamiya ZD Back realizes full interactive communications through the MSCE (Mamiya Serial Communication for External) to bring out the best of all the advanced functions of these cameras.
4.Hasselblad CFV-39
Hasselblad launches the CFV-39 digital back to match the design and functionality of its V cameras. The 39-megapixel back, with a sensor twice the size of premier SLRs, features 2 capture modes: square (29 Mp, 5412×5412) and rectangular (39 Mp, 5412×7212 pixels). Furthermore, the system has a new digital lens correction technology for Carl Zeiss lenses, powered by Mac- and Windows-compatible Phocus image processing software, and the Hasselblad raw file format ensures that images captured are quickly, effectively, and safely stored.
